The Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association provides a platform for women entrepreneurs and MSME owners to bring concerns and build consensus on policy issues affecting the business environment and competitiveness of women-owned businesses in Cambodia. Started in 2011, the association addresses public policy weaknesses impacting women in the informal sector, and advocates in favor of expanded services for this segment of the population. The group also addresses deficits in market information and business education in Cambodia. Providing business services and networking opportunities, CWEA aims to help its members level the playing field in the private sector.
