IT Hub

The IT Hub was launched in 2001 by the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations through Infocom Development Authority of Singapore’s E-Ambassador program. They offer 50 classes to teach students basic computer skills like Microsoft Word, simple image editing, putting together PowerPoint slides, composing and sending emails, and accessing the Internet. It is equipped with the latest technology, including 20 laptops and the latest software. Volunteers conduct the courses and regularly train more tutors to continue their work. A list of available courses is available on the website. The hub largely services retirees and stay-at-home mothers and wives.
