Shariah Compliant SME Financing Scheme (SSFS)

The Shariah Compliant SME Financing Scheme (SSFS) aims to provide financing assistance to eligible Malaysian SMEs whereby the Government of Malaysia has agreed to pay 2% (percentage point) of the profit rate charged on the financing provided by Participating Financial Institutions.

MIDF, being an agency under the Ministry of International Trade And Industry (MITI) is designated by the Malaysian government to process and approve applications for financing under the Government financial assistance programmes, to disburse Government-allocated funds under these programmes and to manage these funds.

Export-Import Bank of Malaysian Berhad

Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank) was incorporated on 29 August 1995 as a government owned development financial institution through a wholly owned subsidiary of the Minister of Finance Incorporated. The Bank was established to promote reverse investment and export of strategic sectors such as capital goods, infrastructure projects, shipping, value added manufactured products and to facilitate the entry of Malaysian companies to new markets, particularly to the non-traditional markets.
