SME Micro Loan by Enterprise Singapore

Small companies that are just starting out can apply for the SME Micro Loan that offers funding of up to S$100,000 to help you better manage daily operations and cashflow.

To make the loan more accessible to new companies set up in three years or less, Enterprise Singapore shares the risk of loan defaults with Participating Financial Institutions in the event of company insolvency.

May Bank Singapore

As part of our commitment to help SMEs, Maybank is a participating financial institution for the Local Enterprise Finance Scheme (LEFS) administered by SPRING Singapore. Companies that require funds for automation, upgrading or purchase of equipment and/or premises can apply for loans of up to S$15 million.

Financing Opportunities by International Enterprise

IE Singapore is a member economy government agency spearheading the overseas growth of Singapore-based companies and promoting international trade. In 2013, IE Singapore assisted over 22,000 SMEs in their internationalization drive. More than 5,000 companies benefitted from incentive schemes of grants and financing to develop internationalization capabilities and manpower, access financing and grow overseas markets. As a result of IE’s assistance schemes, these companies secured a total of 775 million SGD (approx. 570 million USD) of trade and project financing from banks, and 40.5 million SGD (approx. 30 million USD) of government grants. The GCP provides assistance to companies going overseas by supporting them in building internal capabilities, manpower development, gaining market access and gaining access to financing.

SheSays – Singapore.

SheSays holds events, where top females in the industry share their thoughts and help people work their way up. They also have their own award called The Golden Stillettos which is actually the first ever wearable award for women who stepped it up. SheSays now offer career management and recruitment, some courses on digital creative and production.

Women in Transition

This Meetup group supports women who are interested in leaving their jobs to become business owners or consultants. It provides a space for them to network to discuss their fears and successes.

Entrepreneurs Business Investors Coaches

This group brings together entrepreneurs, professionals, business people, investors, and coaches and hosts Meetups, seminars, and social events. It has 331 members.

Singapore Women’s Network.

This group is for business women in Singapore and has over 700 members on LinkedIn. Monthly meetings take place.
